Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how Sudoku Lumina ("the App", "we") handles your information. The short version: the App is designed to work primarily on your device, we collect as little as possible, and we never sell your data.
Data stored on your device
Your puzzles in progress, game statistics, achievements, streaks, coins, settings, and theme choices are stored locally on your device. They are not uploaded to our servers and are deleted when you uninstall the App.
Data we collect
- Anonymous account. The App may create an anonymous Firebase Authentication account (a random identifier) so features like the leaderboard can work. It contains no name, email, or other personal details.
- Leaderboard entries. If you win games while online, your anonymous player handle (e.g. "Player-A1B2C"), level, and score (XP) are stored in our leaderboard so rankings can be shown to other players.
- Analytics. We use Google Firebase Analytics to understand how the App is used (e.g. which difficulties are played, when a game is completed). This data is aggregated and not used to identify you.
- Crash reports. We use Firebase Crashlytics to receive anonymous crash reports so we can fix bugs.
What we do NOT collect
- No name, email address, phone number, or contacts.
- No precise location.
- No photos, files, or microphone access.
- No selling or sharing of data with third parties for their marketing.
Advertising
The App currently contains no third-party advertising. If ads are introduced in a future update, this policy and the in-app consent flow will be updated first.
Third-party services
The services above are provided by Google Firebase. Their handling of data is described in the Firebase Privacy documentation.
Children
The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children. It contains no social features beyond an anonymous leaderboard handle and no free-form communication.
Data deletion
Local data is removed by uninstalling the App. To request deletion of your anonymous leaderboard entry, contact us with your player handle at hovoohanyan@yahoo.com.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
